New computer setup

I’m going through set up prompts. As part of the setup I logged into my Microsoft account with my password. Then I was prompted to setup a pin “since I didn’t login with a password” I click create pin But I get a pending circle that never stops. I have restarted the computer many times with the same result. When I click alt tab I can see the window to enter my pin but I can’t get it to the front screen.
