New computer - Onedrive won't stop syncing even with all backup folders OFF!

I have had much misery from Onedrive on my other laptop (with a long help sequence here) and could not get to the point where my laptop and Onedrive were synced and I could control my files from my laptop.This week I got a new laptop and decided to not use Onedrive, and copied a backup folder manually to my desktop. But wouldn't it be nice if I could have both computers synced? I decided to give it another try. I signed in to Onedrive, turned off all the backup folders and other settings, and now have thousands and thousands of files being copied or backed up or synced or something (I can't te
