Network Adapter Issue

Hello, I have an Asus Experbook Laptop with Ryzen 7 OS. It doesn't come with a LAN port built in the laptop. I bought an Ethernet Adapter(USB to LAN) and when I inserted it on my laptop, it didn't connect me to the internet automatically just like a regular LAN cable connected to a pc with a LAN port does. I tried looking for the network adapters but it only shows the WiFi and nothing about ethernet. I already turned off Firewall and even reset my network adapters. Please help. I tried running netcpa.cpl and I found out that there's only one adapter in there which is the WiFi, it doesn't sho
