I just added a Windows 11 Home PC to my home network and want to access its files from other older PCs on that same network. When I try to have File Explorer on another PC open files on the new PC, I am presented with a login popup that asks for username and password. It does not specify what username context (eg, on the new PC or the inquiring PC), nor does it offer any hints for finding a "forgotten" parameter. How can I fix this? BTW, I have no problem in the reverse direction, ie, viewing files on the other PCs from the new PC, and no login popup is involved in that direction.
