Need to install drivers for bootable usb but can’t because I need to ‘reformat the disk before use’

Was making bootable windows 10 usb using etcher on the MacBook but when booting the usb I had come across an error, ‘A driver your computer needs is missing…’, I tried fixing it by placing the Intel rapid storage technology files in the usb but it said you need to reformat the disk before using.
