Need help resolving error 0x80072EE2

I recently got and installed a new motherboard. A few days later, the Activate Windows watermark appeared. I try to resolve it and it is saying the activation servers are down. Also, the watermark is not always there. It shows up after a few hours when I restart my PC. I have a legitimate product license for the Pro version of Windows 10 but I do not have it saved or written down anywhere. Is there a way to resolve this that doesn't include buying a new license?
