nearby sharing, can only share link

My PC is Win10 Prox64, my work laptop is a win 11 insperion 5000.I have nearby sharing set up as per the windows advice.I can share with ease from the PC to the laptop, file is saved in downloads on laptop no issue.But from the laptop to the PC I can ONLY send a link to access the file, I can't send the file itself.The first time I tried I was told by the PC to check settings as the sharing was no allowed.So I made setting on both computers to everyone, made sure my 2 win accounts were listed on both and tried again, only to be given the link option and nothing else, sure there are a million o
