My wired mouse is not working

I have Windows 11 and I'm using a wired mouse. The problem is it's not working. The light goes on, but there is no sound made from my laptop. I have a ASDA mouse and I got it last year. I boot my laptop, it works, but only for 15 mins. Then, it stops working and I have no idea what do.
