My windows desktop isn't letting me sign in, it says "We couldn't log in to your account." I tried removing the file on regedit, but it isn't working,

I went on regedit, and I went to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList. I tried removing the temp file and renaming and removing (.bak) on my account file. I restarted my desktop, and it still said, "we couldn't log in to your account all files made, or changes will be lost." I did this several times. It isn't working is there some other way to correct the error message that says, "we couldn't log in to your account all files made, or changes will be lost." Thanks for your help,Zahid
