My Win 7 does not recognize my HP scanners, but they print OK.

I purchase another HP Office Jet printer. I downloaded the Drivers and it printed fine. Now a couple of months later, I went to scan a document. It says it could not find the scanner. So I tried my older Office Jet which was working fine, and know my PC can not find that scanner. I uninstalled both softwares and reinstalled with new drivers and it still does not recognize them. I looked all over the internet and tried what I could fine, but nothing seems to work. I tried both of the Printers in another PC and they scan fine. So I would think the issue is with my PC not working correctly.

Please HELP.....
