My WiFi speed drops dramatically as soon as I open any game. Why?

I'll elaborate on what I mean in the title.Firstly, whenever I open any game, whether War Thunder, Roblox, EVE Online, etc, my WiFi speed slows down to an almost immeasurable speed; halting any online activities that I may be doing, including the game itself. For example, just now I tested my WiFi's speed, and got around 100mbps. When I opened War Thunder, my internet speed dropped to around 0.05 mbps; before the round even started (I was in the lobby).
