My user profile got corrupted and I am unable to sign in

I have a gaming laptop in which I double booted with windows as well as ubuntu. Its been some time since its display was gone, so I was using the laptop only via the external monitor I have, this monitor somehow has an issue with ubuntu and does not load it, so I only use windows. Every time I boot my laptop or restart it, I press enter key on my keyboard after some time in order to boot to windows from the GNU grub which is not visible in the monitor.
