my touchpad just suddenly stopped working out of no where.

i was using my Acer Aspire 3 15-44p. when out of no where the touchpad stopped working, i was trying to install an AMD soft wear for my graphics card when that happened dont know if its the reason but i tried everything i could think of including:restarting the pc, trying to update all input drivers, unistallling the touchpad driver then restarting, goining into bios and changing the touchpad settings from i2c, and nothing worked so far i've been trying to fix it for the past 3 hours please someone help me
