My touchpad is not working.

It happened a few days ago while I was on the internet, for no reason and out of nowhere , the cursor wouldn't move. It can click but that's it. No moving around nor allowing me to scroll. I already tried reinstalling everything and even performed a factory reset thinking it was a virus. I don't know what can be the cause. The touchpad is clean and hasn't been hit with anything.
