My task manager freezes after trying to play any newly installed games

So, to the point. When I try to turn any game I have installed after a certain point (nothing caused it to happen at that very moment, it just started randomly) my task manager will freeze when opening (either by using the search bar or the shortcut). Any other games, no matter the installation date, will also freeze. I have to restart my computer, and it works just fine as long as I do not open any game installed after that point.
