My ping spikes during gaming

I have faced this issue with the game VALORANT where my game has packet loss and although the ping displayed isn't too high, it spikes often and it's affecting my performance in game. I know this is not an internet issue as I have also played on my second laptop and there is no ping issues on it using the same wifi. It might be something wrong with the wifi driver.
