I've gone through probably every link and every forum there is to try to solve this issue but it won't work. I've been able to manually install one update through the Windows Update Assistant, but Windows Defender flat out refuses to update. When I click 'Check for Updates', it checks for updates for an infinite amount of time. I'm pretty sure that when the next Windows Update rolls around, the same thing will happen. This has also affected my ability to access any web pages or any apps related to gaming. I used to be able to access it with a VPN, but that method doesn't work anymore.Windows U
