My PC wont boot after receiving a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error during windows update. Any advice on how to fix this?

Hello, I installed a Windows update on my desktop today and in the middle of the update I received an error "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION". After the computer turned off I was unable to get it to boot again. It will turn on and show the gigabyte boot screen with a spinning loading wheel and then the screen will freeze and the PC will not boot. I have tried letting it sit there for hours but it wouldn't load. I have tried the following solutions so far and none have fixed my problem: - Entering Windows recovery environment (PC would freeze before it could open), - Installing the Windows media crea
