My PC lags on the Internet and sometimes disconnects when nothing else in the house lags on the Internet what do I do?

Ever since three days ago, my PC has been lagging the first day it started. It wouldn’t even work properly. The second day it would connect to the Internet, but keep disconnecting this third. I can be in a call with my friends, but I won’t stop lagging.
