my pc does not recognise my nvidia gpu

I have a nvidia rtx 3080 and I recently opened up a game and it told me to update my graphics driver.It took me to an Intel website in which I downloaded the drivers.Now my game is running on 4 fps (it was 120 the day before) and I can't redownload any nvidia drivers because my PC cannot recognise my GPU.I also can't access my nvidia control panel for the same reason.
