My new windows 11 laptop will not connect to my monitor

Hello!I’ve purchased a new laptop and I cannot get it to connect to my monitor. I have been using a dp to hdmi cable (which I know works as have tried it elsewhere). I’ve disconnected my graphics cards and enabled them. I’ve checked and ran all updated (including optional ones) but still no luck.It keeps saying “we didn’t find another display” when I click detect.Any advice please?
