My new Legion 5i speaker audio is low and muffled on max.

This is a brand new laptop that I have just bought. As the title explains it, my audio level is low, even more so when I boot up a game. Furthermore, the audio sounds muffled and is similar to how the hands-free audio profile for Bluetooth sounds. I suspect it is a settings problem.
