my new computer is freezing constantly.

I have been through the whole process of elimination for possible causes. This is not a ram issue, not an overheating issue, and not a driver issue. The computer will be running fine and everything operational until a random moment when the computer freezes. The background picture on the laptop will "overlap" and that is the sign that everything is frozen and I have to hold down the power button to restart the computer
