MY NEW 31.5 INCHES MONITOR IS SHOWING LAG . COULD IF BE MY VIDEO CARD

Hello friends, and Happy New Year to all of you from Spain. I have a LENOVO THINKPAD LAPTOP with a CORE I7 VPRO; it uses a NVIDIA QUADRO T1000.I decided to buy a much larger monitor and went for a LENOVO THINKVISION P32PZ-30 (31.5 inches). I am connecting the two with an ultra-high-speed HDMI to HDMI 8K ULTRA HD. Yet the new monitor image is not flowing right as it shows some lag when I want to watch, let's say, YouTube videos using the full size of the screen.
