My mouse stopped working and i don’t know what to do can someone please tell me what i can do to fix it?

Hey, so i was trying to play tmodloader (modded terraria) with my brother and a friend, and after a bunch of problems my mouse stopped working out of no where, i swapped the batteries, nothing, tried using it on my brothers laptop, nothing, cleaned sensors, nothing, and to be honest i don’t know what to do or if i have to get a new mouse, cause it pops up when i plug in the usb but it dosent work, the light on the mouse lights up when i switch it on but nothing happens,
