My mouse moves, but I can't click.

I've had this problem for around a week now. My mouse is still usable, because if I use keyboard shortcuts to open task manager, that seems to make my mouse work temporarily. Some examples are if I right click on the windows Icon, it will play half of the animation (the one where the Windows icon shrinks and expands but only shrinks) and does nothing, or if I hover my mouse over icons, it will sometimes highlight them, and sometimes not. Another thing I noticed is that when I boot up my PC, it was like my mouse was stuck down on left click, because to get to the bit where you enter your passwo
