My microsoft account was hacked and I am unable to remove the account from my device?

A few days ago I *very stupidly* gave my login token to a stranger who then changed the recovery emails and username for my account, since my email is no longer the recovery email for my account of 9 years, I am unable to request support for this issue.Today I tried to create a new microsoft account with the same email as my compromised account, I was repeatedly promted to sign in with "you already have an account with this email", when I signed in with a code to change the password, it still says my pwassword i wrong, which is genuinely impossible as i just changed it?
