my laptop suddenly has no sound

hi,I was using my laptop this morning and has sound but suddenly, there is no sound. Troubleshooter didn't fix it. There were three drivers that go installed today (06/27). It happened last week and I reinstalled Windows. Now, the issue is back. I suppose the Intel driver that got installed via Windows update is the cause. What is that software component anyways?Please help me.
