My laptop keeps beeping every few seconds. How do I stop it?

I have Microsoft 11 on my laptop and recently it has been beeping occasionally but today it is beeping every few seconds/ I have restarted it multiple times - doesn't help. I have turned it off completely. Doesn't help.
