My Laptop is Underperforming on charge

My Laptop is Underperforming while it’s charging, and the temperature also seem to be higher compared to when it’s on battery.I’m getting low fps on almost all games when I’m on charge, it used to be fine before but now It has low fps. I have checked all power settings, I set performance to max on charging, Using Best Performance mode and still. My laptop performs fine when it’s on battery, I’m getting 120fps on FIFA 19 when it’s on battery, the moment I plug in the charger, fps drops to 40 and temperature jumps to 80-90C from 50-70C(CPU Temp).I have updated my drivers, rolled them back aswell
