My laptop is running 50 % of my ram while in idle

My laptop currently runs 50% of the 32 GB of ram I have installed on it. Recently I noticed that my laptop was slowing down, even when running small applications so I went to task manager to see what was up. I fund that my laptop was running around 16 Gb of ram while idling and capping out when using larger programs like CAD. I went to the forums to try and find a solution and did some of the suggestions in there. Here is what I have done so far.1. I ended unnecessary task in task manager2. I disabled some of the startup apps in task manager that I didn't need.3. I downloaded Microsoft Autorun
