My laptop goes si;emt when i pause audio.

My laptop stops making noise after I pause the audio. The only way to get sound back is to restart the device but once i pause the output stops again. The sound icon is showing up but no sound coming out.Problem started randomly when I paused spotify and when i came back audio was broken.I have trouble shooted audio drives and searched for availble updates but no errors are found. I have tried to cheack the device manager and reinstall drivers but nothing works.I have noticed the audio may work perfectly fine for around two days but at some random point ill pause and volume will stop working a
