My laptop giving me false Ram(Memory) slot , so how I fix that

When I go to store for upgrade the ram and at that time I see there is only one slot of ram in physical device but in device(virtually) I tried all things for checking ram slots including task manager, cpuzBut it say you have 2 slot So how can I fix that I don't have 2 slot instead of 1 slotAny idea for that so give it me
