My Japanese input no longer works for Romaji input.

When I convert the language to Japanese and start typing, it no longer recognize the Roman input = alphabets. This used to automatically generate Japanese characters suggestions which I could choose. Eg. Until December, 2022, if I type Konnichiwa (Hello in Eng) -> it would suggest some Japanese letters/ characters to choose from - this is the correct way that had worked for many years. = Romaji transliterationNow, starting in Jan, 2023, if I type Konnichiwa-> it types in Japanese characters as if I am using the old time 1970's Japanese typewriter keyboard where each key was a Japanese l
