My HDD is not recognized in Disk Management and diskpart, how can I fix this?

Hello,In an attempt to remove the partition in my external hard drive, I attempted to use diskpart to format the drive, however, when running the 'fs=ntfs' command, the HDD seemed to have either stopped responding or disconnected breifly and the formatting failed (at 97% no less). Now in both Disk Management and diskpart I cannot see the drive anymore. I am unsure what to do as it seems even though my computer recognizes something being plugged into the USB port (I can tell by the sound), I am unsure how to get it so that the drive is recognized. At this point I'm worried it's irreversible.Any
