My files and apps are gone from the user

All of my files and apps disappeared. I don't know what happened but it's been about 2 months since i used this laptop and when i reopened it all the files disappeared. files outside of my user are still inside the laptop however all of my apps and data inside the user is gone. however saved passwords and opera gx history is still saved after i redownloaded opera ( i haven't signed in to my acc on opera). old apps like minecraft and roblox and the such still shows up as shortcuts but i cant open them as the actual app is gone. old files still show up in recents in the search bar history howev
