My file explorer is running very slowly, behaving strangely, and when I try to open image files, it freezes and has to be restarted. What is going on

So starting today, my File Explorer has started running slowly and acting strangely. It is displaying a lot of thumbnails for images and videos as blank/white and when I try to open image files, it freezes completely. I have tried everything I can find to try to fix it myself but now I am out of ideas.So far I have tried rebuilding the thumbnail/icon database, repairing registries, various disc repair options, etc. I'm not sure what to try from here. The File Explorer is displaying the green load bar and it is very slow and never completely finishes loading. Upon first opening, I can access fo

On opening Disc Image File, the dialogues box show "Cannot mount" and "The Disc Image File is corrupted". I have tried looking ways to solve it online
