my file explorer is being weird

[Microsoft Windows]

whenever i open my file explorer it opens normally but anytime i try to go a different folder or path it stops responding, but if i download something and click on the dowload opening its location itll open normally and i can open folders normally but only the folders inside the zip file download that i open, ive tried a lot of the solutions ive saw online beside system restore point.
