My ethernet is not working

So I've buyed my laptop 6 months ago and I use a ethernet cable which first worked great.So sometimes my network speed will go up to 120 mbps, but on random occasions (like playing a microsoft store game or sometimes when i watch a youtube video) it will be permanently 12 mbps until i restart my laptop.
