I'm not much of a tech sav, however I had updated my computer a few days ago and didn't touch it until friday, I come back to it and it's all of a sudden running at 100% Disk usage. It wouldn't let me open up any programs such as Chrome and Steam, in which I had to uninstall both seeing if it would work. I ran disk optimizers (using Norton Anti-Virus) and defragments and it says there's nothing wrong with it. I went with disabling Superfetch, Windows Search, and Background Intelligent Transfer Service. It now fluctuates between 89%-100%, though there is only one program seeming to run with <0.3MB/s. Though everything seems to run smooth-ish, the numbers in Disk continue to give me that false sense of hope that it isn't fixed.
Would wiping the computer clean even help at this stage?
