I have a Dell Inspiron 15-3567 that is running an Intel Core i3-7020, 8GB of RAM (originally 4) and a Toshiba 5400RPM 1TB HDD. Every time I Boot, It is faster than times before. What I mean fast is about 20-30 Seconds (which is the boot time of a SSD) And by slow is about 4 minutes. I did a factory reset because I have some files that I dont want anymore and was nothing important. My current space taking up the HDD is 118GB. Before I did the reset was taking up 126GB. I doubt that the factory reset was the cause my HDD/Boot time was faster than it was before. Why is that?
