My Custom PC display goes black every time I try to open and close games

I recently built a custom PC, with AMD products. My specs are as follows: Ryzen 5600x, 16gigs of ram, 1tb ssd Radeon RX 6700 XT. The machine seems to run fine, however when ever i try to open or close games my display goes completely black. I am trying to figure out if this can be a BIOS setting that I need to change, or if it is the fact that I am still running on an unactivated windows 10 home. Could activating my Operating system solve the issue? I do not want to drop the money unless I have to so I would just like some insight on that.
