I have contacted multiple Microsoft support personal about this and none of them have been able to find out what's causing the crashes on my PC. No amount of troubleshooting or crash logs I send seem to tell them anything!
This is not a constant problem, but a random one I cannot reliably recreate, which annoyingly means it can strike at any time.
My computer is crashing, normally while I am closing a game. It has now, but only once now, crashed while actually playing a game.
One of two things happens:
1) The computer freezes, the picture on the screen (normally the games menu) stays and the background music keeps playing. However, I am unable to do anything.
2) The screen immediately cuts off and no signal is detected by my TV.
In both scenarios power is still going to the mouse and my Xbox controller as well as my ethernet plug adapter continuing to receive a signal. The keyboard however has no power AND the computer is still running, humming away within it's case.
I have performed a clean reinstall of Windows. I have updated all of my drivers. I have reinstalled my games. I even downloaded an app to monitor temperature and I can confidently say that my PC is definitely not overheating. Nothing I've done has fixed it!
I am using an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics on an ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard with 16Gb of RAM.
If anyone can at least suggest what specific thing could be causing this, I would greatly appreciate it.
