My audio is acting odd.

So, to put it simply, no matter what the audio of my laptop plays audio at the same volume. Max Volume, plays at 30%, Volume at 1, still plays at 30%, fully muted, plays at 30%. This only happened after I updated my laptop today and I have a midterm tomorrow. If anyone knows whats happening, some help would be greatly appreciated.
