My 10yo son tried to log into a new laptop with a new username. He forgot his password and as he has never used the username we have no access to the

My 10yo son has a new laptop and entered a new user name to log into. He has no previous use of this username. He forgot the password and didn’t enter the correct phone number either. His Microsoft account is now locked from trying to enter password. We now have no access to his new laptop as no one else has ever logged in as administrator.
