I have a Surface Pro (SP) and two monitors connected via Dock2. SP display is designated 1 in Display Settings. One monitor is in landscape mode and is #2. It is also set as the main display (which is what I want) The other monitor is in portrait and is #3.
The Power settings are set to "do nothing" when I close the lid.
However, when I close the lid, monitor 3 jumps to become monitor 1 and monitor 2 becomes monitor 3 i.e. they both rotate 90 degrees because of the different orientation settings.
The same thing happens if I choose "Disconnect this Display" for SP/display #1.
I feel like it would be ok if #2 became #1 when the lid was closed but alas, I cannot figure out how to make that happen.
All help appreciated!
