MSN Weather App suddenly showing advertising? Did it get hacked?

I have enjoyed the MSN Weather app for years; I even have a monitor dedicated to displaying the app. Suddenly today the UI has been rearranged and now it's showing advertising? What happened? Did the app get hacked?I'm thinking that the MSN Weather app got hacked because if you look at Microsoft's screenshots from the app web page there is no advertising:https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/msn-weather/9WZDNCRFJ3Q2Is Microsoft aware of this problem?
