mscomctl.ocx registration

I initially was getting this error when trying to start an application. This application has started right up in the past with no issues.My mscomctl.ocx file was in C:\program files\microsoft office\roor\vfs\system. Probably placed there by some recent MS office downloads. Anyway it is to normally be in the Windows\syswow64 folder. So I moved it there and tried to register it there and now getting this error.Potential solutions online look above my pay grade. I checked for any corrupt files and did not find any. Any ideas besides the pay for resolution path?
