MP3 player does not connect. Cannot see it under This PC

My daughter's MP3 player no longer connects to my Lenovo Yoga Slim laptop. It used to in the past but no longer does. I need to be able to connect it to add some tracks I downloaded for her.This is what I've tried:- I've run the updates (including optional)- Restarted the system- Rolled back Universal device client device (as it wasn't working properly, error code 31).This however hasn't helped. When the device is connected it starts to charge and doesn't show under This PC as a storage disk the way it used to in the past.
