Moving Windows 10 from HDD to SSD

Hello, I had originally installed Windows 10 on my HDD, but I recently bought an SSD and I want to reinstall windows on the SSD. Will I have to format my HDD then disconnect it from my PC and install Windows clean on my SSD? Or is there another way to do this?
